Embryology (before fertilization, after fertilization and GIT) :

-Foregut ; the development for etc are not important. Only the anomalies are important.

-Midgut ; all are important.

-Hindgut ; maybe cloaca. Forgot to ask (:

Upper limb:

-Course, origin, termination and branches for arteries, veins and nerves.

-Blood supply ; arteries and veins only.

-Effects of injury of nerves ; loss of sensation, paralysis of the muscles (enumerate) and deformity.

-Joints ; articulation, important ligaments and movement.

-Brachial plexus.

-Profunda brachii artery – anastomose around the elbow.

Thorax:

-Thoracic wall

-Heart

-Lung and pleura

-Mediastinum

Same like UL, relations are not important at all, but the course for arteries and veins are really important.

Abdomen and pelvis:

1.Liver

2.Kidney

3.Ureter

4.Psoas major and branches of the lumbar plexus.

5.Artery. E.g. Inferior vesical artery – distribution.

6.Rectum – blood supply & peritoneal covering.

7.Urinary bladder

8.Perineum – superficial and deep perineal pouch.

9.Nerves. E.g. pudendal nerve – course and distribution.

10. Ischiorectal fossa will NOT be included for this year exam.

11.Uterus – position and blood supply.

Hint from our beloved Dr. Huda :
During our discussion with Dr, these are the topics that she always repeated.

-Heart, lung, liver, kidney, urinary bladder, perineal pouch, wrist joint, lymphatic circulation.

-Maybe some drawing could help, but must be labelled. E.g. inferior surface for the liver.

-Courses and distributions of the branches of arteries.

If you really want to get mumtaz, you must read all and not all of this only.
